Mr. Larry and Professor Liam both had aspirations to establish new businesses in the well publicized town of Prescott Baine. Mr. Larry jumped in his car and hightailed it there within hours to make final arrangement before his hopeful move, urged by the persistent encouragement of his stockbroker, lawyer and medical doctor, assuring him Prescott Baine was the place to be for overnight success.
Professor Liam, on the other hand, decided to take the train, which let him out on the outskirts of the city, embarking upon a long walk to the industrial center, where Professor Liam intended to look at prospective office buildings for his numerous business ventures.
____________

____________
On the way, Professor Liam noticed the outskirts resembled a mock up city similar to the movie Blazing Saddles. Movie set fronts propped up by wooden stands, with nothing but dirt and tumbleweeds behind the facade. This was perplexing as the town of Prescott Baine had been praised on every main stream media outlet as the best kept secret for all investors, urging those wanting to start up a new business and make billions to join the biggest wealth arena in the country.
Half way to the city center Professor Liam noticed Prescott’s highly endorsed Mayor snorting coke with the Leader of a notorious drug Cartel, and a male General wearing a skirt, while watching a snuff film in the backdrop of a fake liquor store promoting alcohol to specific ethnicities. This was shocking. Prescott Baine was supposed to be the safest little town in the world, according to numerous Journalists who even proclaimed to live in this thriving 1950 ish metropolis. Prescott Baine investment publications played continually, portraying a quaint “Wonder Years” movie set, capturing the beauty, cleanliness, old world charm and vast opportunities this Wonder town held, tantalizing businessmen and new families alike.
____________

____________
Professor Liam found himself confused and decided to rest on a bench by a field. To his surprise, the Governor of the State was doing what appeared to be an exchange, with a large group of heavily tattooed bandits and a few well known actors, senators, bankers and small children behind a tree. Liam nervously jumped up and moved on toward the city center where he hoped to feel more stable and secure about the amazing opportunities promised in this little town.
____________

____________
On his way he came upon an old fashioned soda shop advertising waffles and ice creme floats. He stepped in from the heat and sat down at a round table with a red and white checked linen table cloth and a small bunch of daisies in an old jam jar in the center of the table. Liam finally felt more at ease, until he noticed the large group to his left. Eight men, all with different badges. CIA, FBI, DOD, DOJ, NIH, CDC, IRS, and the Police Chief all playing poker in plain daylight, using USAID funds to buy chips.
Their voices echoed in the small ice creme shop, making it clear they were working together to populate the town of Prescott Baine before Fall, when the DEW weapons were scheduled to take out the infrastructure before it was bulldozed into a 15 minute city. They needed heavy investors money to keep their plans afloat as they had already dished out 20 million to each main stream media outlet promoting Prescott Baine investments. Everyone was in on the take.
Professor Liam left before his banana split arrived, hightailing it into the city center to have a first and last look at the town he’d been envious of for months, only to find a row of under age hookers making it almost impossible to move to the high streets. Drug dealers, addicts and what appeared to be zombies with needle tracks all up and down their arms lined the alleys.
Once Professor Liam made it to the city center however, everything was a sparkle. Glistening glass buildings, immaculately clean streets with fancy store fronts, colorful flower pots and impressive statues lined the main street. Handsome successful people he recognized from commercials walked in and out of buildings, only to enter the next building and exit the back to enter another; an assembly line of model entrepreneurs.
Before Professor Liam turned around, certain this was not the place to invest in, he could have sworn he saw a few people shapeshifting into reptilians as they showed images from their smart phones of children in cages. He rubbed his eyes and decided to run full sprint back to the train station never to return.
____________

____________
Meanwhile, his friend Mr. Larry had successfully purchased a penthouse apartment in the prime building in city center, after leasing an office with a view of Prescott Baines clean city streets and flower baskets on the top floor. His new secretary arranged for all his goods to be delivered the next week. Larry believed the town of Prescott Baine was exactly as the main stream media had painted it, because he arrived fast, without ever exploring the neighborhood, trusting the media would never lie to him. If his favorite News Anchor Rick Madcow said this was the place to be, he was sold on it.
____________

____________
Come fall, Professor Liam was in a sweet unheard of town thriving with a new puppy and some land to grow vegetables and fruit trees with lovely neighbors and time to work on the novel he’d been meaning to complete for years.
Mr. Larry on the other hand, was wiped out in the fall. He lost everything after realizing his insurance company had pulled the plug on his policies a week before the big fires. Larry had no money to relocate, no car and no hope for a better future, until the government came in promising to give the surviving citizens a great life in a 15 minute city with every luxury and security they could imagine or ever need. Larry was relieved. He relaxed and took the offer, having nowhere else to go. He would build a business again and all the money would fund the city that he was grateful to be able to live in. His pride was saved, his life was …

Sometimes the slow road brings you to a greater awareness of important details. Rushing things; demanding what we want immediately, can often bring results we never intended.
The threat of lists being published is part of a Sting Operation. Who’s selling their property now and moving to UK? Who’s resigning? Who’s pulling money out of the stock market, the bank, investments? Who’s calling who? Who’s getting a new passport or changing their name or having plastic surgery?
Sting operations bleed information to see what the bad guys do. Where is their safe house?
The first partial list exposed some of the most famous. People who could not easily hide. The next list will have many unknown billionaires behind the scenes. Indictments, Tribunals and Lock Ups are necessary before they scatter, as they can more easily disappear.
Nowhere to run now.
