____________

____________
“When in a dark place we find ourselves,
knowing lights our way.”
~ Yoda
____________
Star Wars brought Yoda to the forefront with his unmatched Jedi powers and peaceful demeanor. To many Dyslexics, Yoda’s unique way of forming sentences felt more familiar and extraordinarily comforting.
Being dyslexic may cause reading and writing to be a challenge, making it terribly hard to remember how words are spelled and how to make a sentence flow, therefor, dyslexia has been branded a learning disability.
Back around 2015 a story was published about a teacher who gave an assignment to her class to write a poem that could be read forward and backward. To the teachers great astonishment, the most astounding submission was handed in by a dyslexic child. Read forward her poem captures how many people think. Read backward, one could say, it addresses how dyslexic people may interpret the same thing.
____________
This is an excerpt from the poem by 10 year old AO, titled “Dyslexia.”
Notice how she highlighted SLEX, which read backward is XELS…excels.
____________

____________
I am stupid
Nobody would ever say
I have a talent for words
I was meant to be great
That is wrong
I am a failure
____________

____________
Read up (as many dyslexics naturally would)
Failure am I
Wrong is that
Great be meant was I
Words for talent have I
Say ever would nobody
Stupid am I.
The negativity is reversed and this is the whole point of the dyslexic trait.
Dyslexia is not a problem, it’s a solution and a failsafe the Spirit has implemented to bypass the negative pitfalls of a fallen system. Almost everything we see in the world has potential to cause insecurity. If we perceive life with a PAUSE…a bit upside down and backward, we have time to process the information through our Spirit, allowing upgrades or happier interpretations before anything has a chance to impress the mind.
____________
Many times the things we are told are wrong with us, turn out to be what is very right with us, and often great gifts that offer special powers.
