Origins are IMPORTANT
Although Drew Weissman and Katalin Karikó are credited with inventing the mRNA shots in 1986, there are three men published before them as inventing the mRNA expression system as early as 1968: Gerard Marbaix, John Gurdon and Charlie Lane. This is more important that most may imagine, as many will understand after reviewing one of the original molecular biologists.
This information is not commonly promoted, in fact, a friend discovered this by accident while looking up something entirely off topic.
